A former New Yorker and fashion librarian, I now spend my days at Colby College in Maine, managing a re-organized Collection Management department that includes: ILL, Campus Deliver, materials management of the Storage Facility, Technical Services, Acquisitions, ERM, and Collection Development. Colby is part of the renowned CBB library consortium, and, along with our beloved colleagues at Bowdoin and Bates, we manage to happily share a catalog, print approval plan, and a small e DDA program.
